Kids Making a Difference: Khloe Thompson, Founder of Khloe Kares

Khloe

Khloe founded Khloe Kares to help homeless women and has sewn and distributed more than 4,000 tote bags filled with toiletries and essentials. She began her work as an 8-year-old after passing the same homeless people on her walk to school each day.

We are thrilled to have Khloe as our Wonder Crate Kid of the Month for May and ask her few questions about making an impact.

What positive impact do you hope to have in the world?

I hope to inspire other kids. We have the power to change the world. I want other kids to know that your age does not define your impact. I want all kids to know that their ideas matter and even if you inspire one person, you have done your job.

How are you doing it?

I created Khloe Kares with the support of my family to help homeless women. I want to show ALL of my neighbors that they are loved and cared for, no matter what their situation. My family has supported me every step of the way.

What skills have you used along the way?

Compassion: Since I was little, I’ve always had a heart to help others.

Curiosity: My curiosity made me question why people were homeless, which lead me to want to help.

Social Responsibility: I am very selfless and always think of other before myself.
